Hi everyone...,
Chinese new year is coming soooonnnn 😇😇😇 so excited 😍💰😆
Today I'm gonna share my story about why i decided to be a beauty blogger. I know it was late. I should have started years earlier. But it's better late than being regret because you never start.
Actually i have a blog 5 years ago. I'm interested in anything related to skin care. I often watch youtube channel. Bubz Beauty, Michelle Phan, Stella Lee, etc. Michelle Phan is one of my favourite. She's young and inspiring. And one of her video titled "draw my life" really changed my thought about future. I was curious to try writting.
Then i started my blog, i use my phone camera and my limited english skill to write about 3 product that i love. One of them is my review about legere bb cream which is so hard to get now except you go to other country like malaysia, singapore or hongkong. Dunno why nobody import it nowadays. It's a really great bb cream. Luckily i found another better one which i reviewed on my 1st post. Dr. Jart black label nourishing bb cream which become my holly grail bb cream now.
I only post 3 or 4 times then i'm too busy with my work, my dance project and i prefer to watch korean series than making a new post on my blog. Which i regret 😭😭😭
However i still love to watch youtube about beauty blogger product review, skin care routine, a day in my life, etc. I have a beauty online shop so i need much information about skincare and make up which i could fine there.
When i heard that Michelle Phan is writing a book. I was so excited. I tried to find it everywhere in bookstore but never found it. So i stop searching. Shortly, this christmas, my dad suddenly giving me that book and i was soooo surprise. This is what i've been longing for long. I got it on 24th december and decided to finish before my new year holiday.
I finished that book in only 2 days. It's fast since i personally hate reading. Lol 😂😂😂
And i can say that this book really bring a new perspective, a new resolution, a new courage for me to be what i think it's too late. She said to never stop dreaming. This life is a canvas, and you are the painter. It's up to you to draw. You are free to create anything beyond your imagination, the important is to keep dreaming, never left the canvas blank.
Wowwwww, it's like a breakthrough for me. And i decided to make a new blog. Join some beauty club, attending event without thinking about my age or personal experience. I need to learn. And if the youth can become my guru, why not. I should take that chance. I really thanks to Michelle Phan for creating this book. She's trully inspiring and energetic person i've known. 👍👍👍👍👍
Here i post some picture of that book
This book really guide me how to be myself, to do what i want, about skincare, make up, how to be organise, how to find my field, how to be confidence and how to be an entrepreneur. She also shared her childhood and success story in detail. Trust me you really need to read it.
One think i challenged myself this year is to start doing make up. I love to take care of my skin but i'm not into make up. I only wear bb cream, powder and lipgloss wherever i go and no matter what event i attend. Except for wedding and dance performance, i let someone do my make up. But i'm a bad make up person or whatever it should be called. 😄😄😄 excuse my english.
This year. I decided to learn make up from youtube. I start to buy eyeliner, concealer, eyebrow pencil, lipstick. Still to lazy to use it though. But i'll try my best to do it slowly, step by step and encourage myself to create a new look rather than just a plain face. Wish me luck! I will post my make up here on valentine's day. Hope it won't failed. 😇
Now let me take a selfie before finish this post. Lol 😂😂😂 am i too old to be narcist? Guess not. Excuse my silly question 😶 Thank you for reading and please feel free to leave a comment or critisize.
Have a great day!
