Hello everyone,
Today I'm so excited to share with you all about Surabaya Beauty Blogger 1st Anniversary event that was celebrated on Saturday, 2nd September 2017.
The party was held at Muttonbird Bistro & Rooftop and attended by all Surabaya Beauty Blogger's official members and some other invited guess & sponsors.
I arrived 15 minutes earlier and directed to the 4th floor, the rooftop. When the eleveator opened, i went to the registration table to sign and took my goodie bag. A pinky polkadot goodie bag special designed for this event. Everyone was dressed in black and hot pink as it has already announced before as a dress code. The room looked so pinky 💕
So many make up & beauty products from our sponsors were displayed on the registration table and i just couldn't take my eyes out of them for at least 3 minutes 😄
I walked around and said hello, some of them I haven't ever met before because I'm still a new member of Surabaya Beauty Blogger. That's why I was so excited to be there and knowing all of the ladies with the same dreams and passion on beauty & make up.
There was a photobooth at the left side when we entered the room and it was decorated with 1st Anniv letter foil balloon and blink hot pink paper (dunno what it called). Everyone was taken a picture at the photobooth including myself of course 😂😂😂. We had a photo competition for that event. 3 best picture will be chosen at the end of the party. Here's mine. It wasn't my lucky day yet i was still so excited 😍
The party was opened by the duo "paripurna" MC, Claresta & Gita, which are also Surabaya Beauty Blogger official member. And they both are cool, funky, funny & fabulous. Their duo just rocked the party and made it even more fun than i was ever expected.
At the beginning, Mindy as the founder of Surabaya Beauty Blogger gave some short welcome speech and introduced the comittee of Surabaya Beauty Blogger. They are Nessya, Shelvi & Dita. The solid team that made Surabaya Beauty Blogger gone this far. So proud of them. 🤗
This event was supported by woman blitz. The founder of Woman Blitz also gave a short speech to encourage us to keep creating and inspiring others in related to beauty.
The event continued by the workshop from one of SBB Anniversary sponsor, Menail Salon. We were taught how to stick a fake nail correctly. That was my 1st experience and everyone around me seemed like a pro 😦. But i loved the process, especially the part of sticking the nail sticker into the fake nail. That was so exciting.
Moving on, after the workshop by Menail Salon, we got another interesting workshop, the face reading demo by Clariskin. Each of our face was captured from side and front to be read, and the result will be sent by email. Can't wait to read my result 😍
Then we were continued by the make up demo from our main sponsor F2F cosmetics. They introduced their brand new product, perfect cream eyebrow and how to use it. To be honest i haven't ever tried using cream eyebrow and so excited to try them. As always, Claresta was chosen to be the model for this make up demo. 😄
There was also a really fun games after the make up demo. We were challenged to wear a lip liner and lipstick using our left hand. It was also my first time trying my left hand to put on lipstick and guess what? I completely failed! 😝 Fanny, Olin & Veve won this game.
Then there came a time for the announcement of photo contest winners. For this contest, Amanda, Girly & Chelsea were chosen and got a special gift from our sponsors.
The party was closed with the photo group taken. And here's our happy face. 😄😁
Before going home, I took some other pic with Mindy, Veve and of course the duo "paripurna" MC Gita & Claresta.
Words just can't explain how happy and excited I am to be a part of this community. They all are friendly, fabulous & inspiring. Can't wait for another event & project forward.
