How are you doing this weekend? Hope you'll have a wonderful weekend. Today I really wanna do cushion review but I have to delay it because i still have some pimple from previous break out. But already much better. Hopefully next week I can reviewing about my 1st cushion coz i can't wait to try that.
So today I just wanna make a short review about my new body lotion i bought from sephora. Actually i've been in love with Body Shop chocolate body lotion. The smells is sooo chocolate and feels like I'm wanting to eat my body 😄😄😄 So sad that it's already discontinue. 😣😣😣
I'm quite excited after knowing that sephora also got chocolate body lotion. I decided to have a try with a big expectation that it could replace my favourite body shop one.
So here it is.
It came in a beautiful chocolate colour bottle with black pump. I love the packaging and I thinks it's more beautiful that the one body shop have. Unfortunately i don't have the empty bottle so I can't show you the one that Body shop brings. It contains 190 ml and cost about 160K. A little more expensive than the body shop which is 129K.
And the information written :
Moisturizing body lotion
Dermatologically tested. Paraben free. It's lightly scented texture, enriched with cocoa butter extract, melt on the skin. Penetrate immediately, without leaving an oily film, for instant comfort. Leaves skin soft and moisturized all day long.
After reading this, I'm glad to know that this is paraben free. I don't have sensitive body skin but everything without paraben is great for me. So after finished my previous body essence from scentio that i've reviewed last month, I started to use this one from Sephora.
Here's the texture of the lotion
The lotion came in white colour and it's not heavy at all. It glides smoothly on my skin and didn't leaves an oily film just like what it's written. It absorbed quickly and i can feel my skin moisturized quite long. Especially after shower. Here's how my skin looks after application.
I don't know whether this pic could describe clear enough how moisturized my skin. And i love the after application feeling on my skin. It doesn't feel heavy or oily at all. It totally absorbed and make my skin like naturaly moisture. I love it but the one that make me a bit disappointed is the fragrance.
It doesn't have a real chocolate fragrance like what i expect. The smells is like a cocoa butter. I know many brand brought cocoa butter body lotion and i'm okay with that fragrance. But i really wish that it has a real chocolate fragrance like Body Shop chocolate body lotion. 😢😢😢
Well, at least for the function of moisturizing my skin, this product already gave a good satisfaction. But I don't know whether i will repurchase or not. Maybe i will try another fragrance of this series. I heard they got about 10 or more fragrance choice which is tempting. We'll see.
